Kori (Smith) Lamberson

December 13, 1980 — March 28, 2012

Kori Smith Lamberson, resident of the Somerville Community and wife of Brad Lamberson, departed this life Wednesday morning March 28, 2012 at the Regional Medical Center in Memphis where she had been a patient after receiving injuries on Sunday, March 25th in a one-vehicle accident that occurred on Highway 194 near Allen Road in Fayette County. She was 31 years of age.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Lamberson were conducted at 4 PM Saturday March 31st at the Graveside with Dr. Ken Story, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Somerville officiating. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by the Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Lamberson was born December 13, 1980 in Memphis. She received her education in the Tennessee and Mississippi Public School Systems and was a high school graduate.

Mrs. Lamberson was a resident of Shelby County before moving to Somerville and was a Baptist, attending Warren Community Church while living in Fayette County. She was married December 30, 2009 to Brad Lamberson, who survives. Mrs. Lamberson was a homemaker throughout her life and formerly served as a veterinary technician for area animal clinics. She had also been involved in management and sales for retail jewelry operations.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Lamberson is survived by three daughters, Kaloni Henandez, Kendall Lamberson and Kiersten Lamberson; her mother, Kim Puckett (Johnny) of Somerville; her father, Rick Smith of Somerville; two sisters, Kayla Puckett and Kelsey Tavarez both of Somerville; and three brothers, John Wesley Puckett, Rick Smith, Jr. and Chris Smith.

Casketbearers were family members and friends and the family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
