Lila Jean Kimery (Tina), resident of Moscow, Tennessee, passed away at her home on July 19, 2024.

Lila was born in Collierville, Tennessee on November 26, 1956 to Sammy Lee Walker and Willie Francis Cannon. She was educated in the Fayette County and Collierville school systems. After graduating, she went to Baptist School of Radiology. She then worked at Baptist Central in the ER department and then worked at Baptist East Women’s Center before retiring in 2019.

Tina served faithfully at Mercy’s Bridge Church where she enjoyed working with the children. She loved all of her fur-babies, crafts and working in the garden.

Tina is survived by her husband of 44 years, Ralph Ray Kimery of Moscow, TN. She also leaves behind her stepfather, Harry Cannon of Somerville, TN; three sisters, Donna Elrod (Thomas) of Somerville, TN, Glenda Walker (Pitt) of Whiteville, TN and Sherri Riggins (Frank) of Memphis, TN; three brothers, Barry Cannon of Somerville, TN, Larry Cannon (Linda) of Ripley, TN and Walter Cannon (Sam) of Somerville, TN; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sammy Lee Walker of Collierville, TN; her mother, Willie Francis Cannon of Somerville, TN; her niece, Peggy Cannon; and her great-niece, Sarah Elizabeth Lepard.

A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Kimery was held at 2 P.M. Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Eddie Martin of Christ Church in Brownsville, officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery at Williston.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Robert Kimery, Bobbie McBride, Twain Goudy, Tony Cannon, Michael Elrod and Michael Ray Cannon. Honorary pallbearers were Hunter Lepard, Jason Lepard, Westly Harden and Frank Riggins.

The family requests that memorials be directed to The Gideons International, Gift of Bibles, P.O. Box 212, Somerville, TN 38068.
