Lillian Marie (Day) Price
June 14, 1924 — January 29, 2016
Lillian Marie Day Price, age 91, resident of Somerville and wife of the late Elzie Crawford Price, Sr., departed this life Friday morning, January 29, 2016 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Price were conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. David Reeves, pastor of the Midway Baptist Church in Whiteville, officiating. Interment followed in the Evergreen Cemetery at Williston. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel in Somerville.
Mrs. Price was born June 14, 1924 in Somerville. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was married to Elzie Crawford Price, Sr. She was a lifelong resident of Fayette County and a member of the Williston Baptist Church. Mrs. Price enjoyed dancing, traveling and flowers.
Mrs. Price is survived by two daughters, Sandra Jones (Larry) of Parsons, TN, Nita Shearin (Mike) of Bolivar; her son, Elzie Price, Jr. (Elaine) of Williston; six grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Crawford Price, Sr.; her parents, Clyde W. Day, Sr. and Annie Lee Glover Day; and two brothers, Clyde W. Day, Jr. and Fred Lindy Day.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Ronnie Price, Dennis Price, Bryan Lindermann, Scott Cagle, John Todd and Eric Strope.
