Linda Ann Logan Adair, resident of the Moscow Community and former assistant manager for Pamida Company in Somerville died Sunday evening, July 1, 2012 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville. She was 49 years of age and died following an extended illness.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Adair were conducted at 3 P.M. Friday, July 6th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Rev. Willie Williams of Moscow officiating. Interment followed in the Old Union Cemetery at Laconia. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Adair was born August 7, 1962 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Logan and Betty Ann German Logan. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a Christian. She was a lifelong resident of the Fayette County area and had resided in the Moscow Community for the past 18 years. She was a homemaker throughout her life and her interests included sewing, gardening, caring for her family and enjoying her pet canines.
Mrs. Adair is survived by her daughter, Amanda Logan of Moscow; two sons, Jerry Wayne Logan of Moscow, Donnie Wayne Logan of Moscow; four brothers, James Logan of Laconia, Danny Logan of Laconia, Gary Logan of Whiteville, Jimmy Logan of Somerville; and three grandchildren, Amara Logan, Ciara Logan and Riley Logan.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Charles Logan, Danny Logan, James Logan, Jimmy Logan, Little Danny Logan and Little James Logan.
Honorary casketbearers were Roy German and Gary Logan.
