Linda Sue (Muntz) Keniston Harper

Linda Sue Muntz Keniston Harper, age 65, resident of Oakland, Mississippi, departed this life Thursday afternoon, October 4, 2018 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

A Funeral Service was held at 11 A.M. Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Cody Laughter officiating. Interment was at 2 P.M. Thursday, October 11, 2018 in the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.

Linda was born February 19, 1953 in Oakland, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Clyde Freddie Muntz and Velma Sue Sayles Muntz. She received her education in the Shelby County School System and was a homemaker throughout her life. She was of the Christian faith and enjoyed fishing, computer games, helping other people and talking to her loved ones over coffee. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and was always there for everyone.

Linda is survived by husband, Gene Harper from Memphis, TN; two daughters, Susan Woods from Yellville, AK, Amy Wilson (Billy) from Azle, TX; her son, Tommy Wood (Allison) from Raleigh, NC; and her adopted daughter, Belinda Solley (Adam) from Arlington, TN. She also leaves 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, countless friends and loved ones. She will be missed by all that knew her and her kindness.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Billy Wilson, Adam Solley, Clyde Muntz, Cody Laughter, Aden Solley and Willien Prokop.
