Linnie Jean (Taylor) Drewery
March 24, 1932 — July 23, 2015
Linnie Jean Taylor Drewery, age 83, resident of the Mason Community and wife of the late Leon Drewery, Sr., departed this life Thursday afternoon, July 23, 2015 at the St. Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
Mrs. Drewery was born March 24, 1932 in Lula, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Linnie Taylor. She was a graduate of Treadwell High School in Memphis and was married for over 50 years to Leon Drewery, Sr., who preceded her in death on May 26, 2003. Mrs. Drewery was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed fishing and watching her hummingbirds.
Mrs. Drewery is survived by two daughters, Gloria Churchill of Munford, Patricia Fitts of Mississippi; two sons, Leon Drewery, Jr. (Linda) of Grand Junction, Russell Drewery (Suzanne) of Memphis; her sister, Ruth Cianciola of Bartlett; thirteen grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brett Drewery and twelve brothers and sisters.
