Lois Vivian Tucker Sisco, age 81, resident of Bolivar in Hardeman County, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, March 24, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Sisco were conducted at 3 P.M. Saturday, March 28th at the Reaves Chapel United Methodist Church in Middleton with Dr. Adrian Knipper, pastor of Porters Creek Baptist Church in Middleton, officiating. He was assisted by Rev. Frank Bell. Interment followed in the Reaves Chapel Cemetery at Middleton. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Sisco was born November 4, 1933 in Middleton. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ulysses Grant Tucker and Elma Stanley Tucker. She received her education in the Hardeman County Public School System and was the wife of 35 years to Tommy Sisco, Jr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. Sisco was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed special times with her grandchildren and working with flowers.
Mrs. Sisco is survived by five daughters, Pamela Vaughan of Bolivar, Brenda Kennedy (J.R.) of Bolivar, Linda Ester (James) of Middleton, Wanda Brown (Gary) of Middleton, Barbara Tranum (Ricky) of Middleton; four sons, Paul Sisco of Middleton, Mike Sisco of Middleton, Lynn Sisco of Middleton, Kenneth Sisco of Bolivar; and sixteen grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Tucker.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Brett Vaughan, Josh Sisco, Jimmy Brown, Gary Wayne Brown, Matt Maness, Brandon King, Brian Kennedy and Michael Sisco.
Honorary pallbearers included Bradley Tranum.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the American Heart Association, 2170 Business Center Drive, Suite 1, Bartlett, TN 38134.
