Louise Edmonson Hall, resident of the Braden/Gallaway area of Fayette County and wife of William R. “Billy” Hall died Thursday morning December 16, 2010 at her residence. She was 68 years of age and died following a brief illness.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hall were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, December 18 th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Jim Stubbs, retired pastor of the Braden United Methodist Church, officiating. Graveside Services were at 2 PM Monday, December 20 th in the Natchez City Cemetery at Natchez, Mississippi. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mrs. Hall was born January 24, 1942 in Natchez. She was preceded in death by her parents Norris G. Edmonson, Sr. and Irma Lee Stringer Edmonson. Mrs. Hall was a graduate of Natchez High School and continued her education at Mississippi College at Clinton. She was married January 25, 1962 to William R. “Billy” Hall, retired from the Department of Housing and Urban Development, who survives.
Mr. and Mrs. Hall had made their home in Fayette County for the past twelve years and she was a member of the Braden United Methodist Church.   She will be remembered for her artistic ability and her interests included reading and crocheting. Mrs. Hall received much enjoyment from her pet yorkie, “Anna Belle”.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Hall is survived by her daughters, Laura Seymour (Glenn) of Summit, Mississippi, Amy Coombs (Johnny) of Amite, Louisiana, her son, William Perry Hall (Cindy) of Mobile, Alabama, her sister, Lorraine Childers (Jimmy) of Jasper, Georgia, her brother, Norris G. Edmonson, Jr. (Mary) of Lawrenceville, Georgia, her grandchildren, Amy Wallace, Alex Wallace, Kaylee Wallace, Bradley Seymour, Parker Coombs, Regan Coombs, Ben Coombs, Will Coombs, Jamie Coombs, Marley Hall, Preston Hall and Savannah Hall.
Family and friends served as casketbearers and the family requests that memorials be directed to the Braden United Methodist Church, 250 Hwy 59, Mason, TN, 38049.
