Margaret (Harlan) Moffitt

Margaret Harlan Moffitt, age 90, resident of Middleton, Tennessee and wife of the late Clyde Moffitt, Sr., departed this life Tuesday morning, April 11, 2017 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville.
Services and Interment for Mrs. Moffitt were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Moffitt was born September 21, 1926 in Memphis, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Price Harlan and Margaret Mary Aricer Harland. She was a graduate of Southside High School in Memphis and was married September 5, 1941 to Clyde Moffitt, Sr., who preceded her in death. Mrs. Moffitt was employed as an LPN before her retirement and will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed quilting.
Mrs. Moffitt is survived by her son, Clyde Moffitt, Jr. (Linda) of Middleton, TN; two daughters, Linda Hajj (Hatim) of Moneta, VA, Margaret Bryant (Steve) of Denton, TX; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
