Marianne (Parsons) DeAngelis

Marianne Parsons DeAngelis, age 57, resident of Germantown, Tennessee and wife of Ray DeAngelis, departed this life Friday morning, August 10, 2018 at her residence.

A Funeral Service was held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the First United Methodist Church in Somerville with Rev. Keith Allen officiating. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Marianne was born September 19, 1960 in Somerville, Tennessee, the daughter of Joe and Betty Parsons. She graduated from Fayette Academy in Somerville, Tennessee. She was the co-owner of DeAngelis Jewelers in Germantown, Tennessee before her retirement. Marianne was married to Ray DeAngelis on June 27, 1992. She enjoyed traveling to her and Ray’s cabin in Pigeon Forge, attending bluegrass festivals, crafting and holidays with her family.

Marianne is survived by her husband, Ray DeAngelis of Germantown, TN; her stepchildren, Michael DeAngelis (Jenny) of Germantown, TN, David DeAngelis (Krissy) of Cordova, TN, Ashley Gussoni (Nick) of Nashville, TN; her father, Joseph Parsons of Somerville, TN; her sister, Janet Parsons of Oakland, TN; six grandchildren; her niece, Nicole Ramirez (Anthony); her great-niece, Lucy Ramirez; and her great-nephew, Elliott Ramirez.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Parsons and her sister, BettyJo Parsons Alvarado.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Michael DeAngelis, David DeAngelis, Terry Thompson, Norm Smith, Scott Mullins, Nick Gussoni and Isaiah DeAngelis.

The family would prefer donations to be made to St. Jude Memorial Giving , 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 in lieu of flowers.
