Mark Eric Kleinwachter

Mark Eric Kleinwachter, a resident of Golden, Colorado, Antique Dealer and United States Veteran died instantly late Monday afternoon as a result of a vehicle accident that occurred on Interstate 40 in Fayette County. He was 69 years of age.

A Family Gathering for Mr. Kleinwachter was at 4 P.M. Wednesday, February 1st at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville and interment will be in Golden, Colorado. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

A native of Warrenville, Illinois, Mr. Kleinwachter was born January 9, 1943. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eric Edward Kleinwachter and Muriel Burlage Kleinwachter. Mr. Kleinwachter served in the United States Navy as a young person and was educated in the Warrenville, Illinois Public School System. He was married August 19, 1967 to the former Barbara Fransworth, who survives.

Mr. Kleinwachter had been a resident of Golden, Colorado at the time of his death and had been the owner and operator of Old Glory Antiques for the past 25 years. At the time of his death, he and his wife were transporting antiques to the Nashville, Tennessee area.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Kleinwachter is survived by his daughter, Jody Renee Kleinwachter of Evergreen, CO; two sons, Eric Edward Kleinwachter of Evergreen, CO, Brian Eric Kleinwachter of Smithville, TX; two sisters, Gail Kleinwachter of Minnesota, Margo Fikentscher of Monument, CO; his brother, Greg Kleinwachter of Nashville, TN; and four grandchildren.
