Mark Jeffrey Simons

Mark Jeffrey Simons went to be with the Lord on March 2, 2019, at his residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was loved by all who came in contact with him, an avid Kansas City Chiefs and Kansas Jayhawks fan, and loved his family, friends, and dog, Daunte, who preceded him in death by two months. Born in Kansas City, Kansas December 31, 1970, he graduated from Germantown High School in 1990 and worked for FedEx for 27 years.

He leaves behind his father and mother, Rev. Jeffrey and LaVerna Simons of Oakland, TN; his sister, Dee Ann Smith (Wade) of Brentwood, TN; his brother, Peter Simons of Cordova, TN; his sister, Holly Lyle (Ricky) of Caruthersville, MO; and nieces and nephews, Joseph, Naomi and Tabitha Lyle and Andrew, Megan, Katherine and Reed Smith.

Funeral Services were held at 1 P.M. Friday, March 8, 2019 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Rev. Ricky Lyle officiating. A Private Family Interment was in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
