Mary Angelia (Vales) Dolan

March 14, 1963 — June 28, 2013

Mary Angelia Vales Dolan, age 50, resident of Bartlett, retired employee for Brother International and wife of Glenn Dolan departed this life Friday morning, June 28, 2013 at her residence.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Dolan will be at the Shandy Baptist Church Cemetery in Bolivar with visitation one hour before services at the cemetery. The officiating minister will be Bro. Nathan Bishop, former minister at Shandy Baptist Church. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Dolan was born March 14, 1963 in Bolivar, the daughter of William Andrew Vales and the late Gladys Chaffin Vales. She received her education in the Hardeman County Public School System and Tennessee Technology Center in Whiteville, where she received her LPN. She was employed as an LPN for the Jackson Madison County General Hospital for over ten years and was married February 29, 2008 to Glenn Martin Dolan, an employee for Brother International, who survives .

Mrs. Dolan was a Baptist in faith and was most recently employed in the parts department for Brother International and lived in Bartlett for the past six years. She enjoyed reading and was an avid Elvis Presley fan. Special times with her granddaughter was a favorite pastime.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Dolan is survived by her daughter, Carrie Benard (Joseph) of Henderson, TN; her father, William Andrew Vales of Saulsbury, TN; her sister, Donna Vales of Bolivar, TN; two brothers, Danny Vales of Henderson, TN, Chris Vales of Bolivar, TN; her granddaughter, Madeline Benard; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Nancy Williams and Diane Trotter.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the ALS Foundation of West Tennessee, 670 E. Warwick Lane, Collierville, TN 38017.
