Mary Ellen (Ellingburg) Wilson

Mary Ellen Ellingburg Wilson, resident of the Gallaway Community, retired pharmaceutical sales representative and wife of Jim Wilson, departed this life Sunday, February 2, 2014 at her residence. She was 89 years of age.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Wilson were conducted on Thursday, February 6th in Winona, Mississippi with interment in the Hebron Cemetery at Vaiden, Mississippi. Local arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center — Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Wilson was born January 17, 1925 in Vaiden, Mississippi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin Ellingburg and Jimmie Gregg Ellingburg. She was employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative for the McKesson Robins Drug Company before her retirement and was a member of the Lindenwood Christian Church in Memphis.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Wilson is survived by her son, Steve Poe of Eads; her sister, Marie Stewart of Eads; two grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Poe; three sisters and one brother.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
