Mary Ann (Feathers) German

Mary Ann Feathers German, age 78, resident of Somerville, Tennessee departed this life Thursday evening, December 31, 2020 at Somerville National Healthcare Center.

Mary Ann was born August 29, 1942 in Somerville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Harold L. Feathers and Winnie Feathers. She graduated from Fayette County High School and attended Lambuth College in Jackson, Tennessee. Mary Ann was the office manager with Suburban Propane in Somerville before her retirement. She attended First Baptist Church in Somerville.

Mary Ann is survived by her son, Gregory German of Somerville, Tennessee and her brother, Harold W. Feathers (Donna) of Somerville, Tennessee. Ms. German was preceded by her parents, Harold and Winnie Feathers and her brother, Charles Feathers.

Funeral Services for Ms. German will be held at 11 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Dr. Kenneth Culver, pastor of Warren Community Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment will follow in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community of Fayette County. A visitation for Ms. German will be from 10 to 11 A.M. Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Patrick Feathers, Clark Hensley, Binney Baker, Paul Keating, James Sewell and Mark Hodgson. Honorary pallbearers will be Troy Culver, Tommy Harris and Walter German.

The family requests that memorials be directed to church, charity or organization of the donor’s choice.
