MATTHEW DAVID JOYNER KIMERY

MATTHEW DAVID JOYNER KIMERY, three-week old son of Kim Kimery and Jason Joyner of Williston died Tuesday afternoon, January 26, 2010 at the Le Bonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis where he had been a patient for three weeks.

Funeral services for Matthew David were conducted at 11 A.M. Friday, January 29th at the Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville with his uncle, Rev. Gary Joyner and other ministers officiating. A poem reading was given by Sam Hayes. Interment followed in the Ebenezer Cemetery near Williston. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

Matthew David was born in Memphis on January 4, 2010 and during his brief life on this earth endeared himself to his large family and many friends.

In addition to his mother and father, Matthew David's survivors include his sister, Taylor Layne Kimery of Williston; his grandparents, Wilber Joyner of Williston and Ralph and Patricia Kimery of Moscow. Survivors also include an uncle, Greg "Kracker" Kimery.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers were "Kracker" Kimery and Duane Joyner.

Honorary casket bearers were Jay Featherstone, Eric Eddington and Tristan Kimery.
