Maxine Bernice (Ansel) Stoll

Maxine Bernice Ansel Stoll, age 86, resident of La Grange and wife of the late John Wesley Stoll, departed this life Monday morning, October 5, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis.

Graveside Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Stoll will be conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, October 12, 2015 at the La Grange Cemetery with visitation 30 minutes before services. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Stoll was born September 19, 1929 in Hutchison, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Ansel and Stella Pearl Hale Ansel. She received her education in the Reno County, Kansas Public School System and was married in 1952 to John Wesley Stoll who preceded her in death on November 26, 2005. Mrs. Stoll was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed gardening, restoring antiques, preparing holiday meals and decorating. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and a member of the LaGrange Historical Society.

Mrs. Stoll is survived by two daughters, Linda Tijerina (Jesse) of League City, Texas, Kathleen Schrock of LaGrange, Tennessee; her brother, Chet Stoll (Melba) of Hutchinson, Kansas; five grandchildren, Niki, Ryan, Kevin, Daryl, Kristen; and two great grandchildren, Dakota and Indyana.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Ronnie Stoll.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
