Melissa (Shamburger) Horton

Melissa Shamburger Horton, age 43 and fiancé of Preston Morris, departed this life Saturday, March 18, 2023.

Melissa was born April 9, 1979. She was a homemaker throughout her life and loved fishing, Ole Miss football and spending time with her children and her dog, Scarlett. Melissa was a loving mother of three children, loving fiancé to Preston Morris and a friend to many.

A gathering of Melissa’s friends was from 12 noon until 1 P.M. Monday, March 27, 2023 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland.
