Michael Lee Eubanks

Michael Lee Eubanks, age 34, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, and husband to Stephanie Burch Eubanks departed this life, Tuesday morning, December 5, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee surrounded by his family.

Michael was born June 8, 1989, in Oxford, Mississippi.  He received his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at the University of Tennessee in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Upon his passing, he was employed with TDOT – Tennessee Department of Transportation through the University of Tennessee, Knoxville as a Research Technician III.

Michael (Mike) is survived by his wife, Stephanie Burch Eubanks, and his son on the way, Waylen Zachary Eubanks due February 9, 2024; his mother, Vicki Eubanks; surrogate father, John Drewery; sisters, Prissy Hensley and Jackie Davis; brother, Chris (Marlana) Eubanks; nieces, Tatum Alease and Sarah Grace Ferge; nephews, River Davis, Jacob Ray Ferge, and Jackson McQueen; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Justin/April Ferge and BJ/Amy McQueen.

Mike loved our LORD and never met a stranger. His greatest joy was the future birth of his son, Waylen Zachary Eubanks. There is no way to express the love, excitement, and joy he had waiting to meet his son. He loved get-togethers with his family and friends. Home was where his heart was and anyone and everyone was always WELCOMED. Many talks, texts, and family chats led to many laughs and LOTS of memories. - - OH, HE LOVED making people LAUGH - -

His hobbies included gaming, hunting, fishing, riding side-by-side, reading, astronomy, playing the guitar, listening to music, having bonfires, cooking, and grilling.

Funeral Services for Michael were held at 2 P.M. Sunday, December 10, 2023 with Bro. Dennis Golden officiating. Interment followed in Evergreen Cemetery at Williston.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Eli Taylor, Hayne Hazlehurst, Jonathan Wright, Justin Ferge, Leyden Hart, Peyton Hart and Victor Taylor. Honorary pallbearers were Chris Eubanks, Cody Hart, Jeremy Malatesta and Landon Hart.

Mike will be GREATLY missed by all that knew him and FOREVER REMEMBERED!!!
