Michael Seaton Lewis Jones

Michael Seaton Lewis Jones went home to Heaven to be with Jesus on Thursday, January 10, 2019. He died peacefully at his home.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Jones were held at 12 Noon Monday, January 14, 2019 at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Bryan Morris, pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Dyer, Tennessee, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Michael was born on April 29, 1947 in Knoxville, TN to L.A. and Gloria Jones (Joffe). He served our country in the Vietnam War in the Army from 1967 to 1971 as a special operations communications specialist and pilot. He was a self-employed business owner in the home/office cleaning business from 1989 until 2018.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of over 44 years, Judy; daughter, Shannon, who was his pride and joy; sisters, Angie Smith (Sam), Amy Totsch (David); and many nieces and nephews.
