MICHAEL DAVID ROSE

MICHAEL DAVID ROSE, a resident of Rose Road in the Liberty/Springhill Community of Fayette County died Wednesday evening, February 24, 2010 at the Regional Hospital of Jackson, Tennessee where he had been a patient for four days. He was 56 years of age and died following a one-year illness.

Funeral services for Mr. Rose were conducted at 10 A.M. Saturday, February 27th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Special Remarks and Reflections provided by family members and friends. Interment followed in the Springhill Cemetery in the Liberty Community of Fayette County. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

The son of the late John R. Rose, Jr. and the late Ramona Lee McElwain Rose, he was born on February 23, 1954 at the United States Naval Hospital in Millington.

He was educated in the Fayette County Public School System and was a graduate of the Fayette Ware High School in Somerville.

Mr. Rose was a self-employed Heating & Air-Conditioning Technician for a number of years before retiring for health reasons.

He was of the Christian faith and enjoyed special times with his family. Mr. Rose was a lifelong resident of the Fayette County area.

Survivors of Mr. Rose include two daughters, Stephanie Rose Richey of Cordova and Stacie Rose of Bartlett; two sisters, Janice Hayes of Whiteville and Sharon Green of Hickory Withe; one brother, Mark Rose of Oakland; his grandson, Reign Richey; six nephews and five nieces.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Rose was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard Lee Rose and John A. Rose.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Ryan Richey, Brian Green, Mark Rose, David Clements, Ronnie Burns and Steve Burns.
