MICHAEL JOHN STIKKELMAN

April 9, 1986 — July 22, 2009

MICHAEL JOHN STIKKELMAN, a resident of Memphis and son of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Stikkelman of the Oakland Community died at 10:30 P.M., Wednesday, July 22, 2009 at the Methodist University Hospital in Memphis. He was 23 years of age and died unexpectedly.

A Service of Remembrance for Mr. Stikkelman will be conducted at 11 A.M. Saturday, August 1st at the New Life Fellowship Church in Bartlett with Rev. Robert Crews, Pastor of the church, officiating. A visitation for family and friends will be at the church immediately following services. Interment will be private and arrangements are provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.

Mr. Stikkelman was born April 9, 1986 in Simi Valley California the son of Ronie Mintz Stikkelman and Tom Stikkelman.

He moved at an early age with his family to Tennessee and received his education through home school studies.

He was a former resident of the Oakland Community. He was employed as a Mechanic, and had been a resident of Memphis for two years at the time of his death.

Mr. Stikkelman was a Christian with a compassionate nature and will be remembered for his love of out of door activities that included animals, camping, fishing and gardening.

In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his brother, Jedd Stikkelman of Oakland; his grandparents, Ben and Sheryl Ibach of Oakland; Jimmy and Katherine Nelson of Oakland; Thea Stikkelman of Amsterdam, Holland; his aunt, Kate Mintz and uncles: Steve Sides, Robert Stikkelman and Charles Stikkelman.
