Michael Jerald Sudduth

Michael Jerald Sudduth, age 76, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Wednesday morning, June 26, 2024 at his home.

Michael was born April 4, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of the late Warren Gilbert Sudduth and Mary Evelyn Dodd Sudduth. He graduated from Whitehaven High School and served his country in the United States Army as a Captain. Following his military service, Michael was employed with AT&T as a lineman for over 30 years before his retirement. He loved his family and his country, listening to rock and roll music, watching NASCAR and driving his Mustangs.

Mr. Sudduth is survived by two daughters, Amy Schuler (John) of Collierville, TN and Amy Reid (Brandon) of Texas City, TX; his son, Michael W. Sudduth (Stacie) of Somerville, TN; his sister, Susan Kriaski (John) of Jackson, TN; seven grandchildren, Evan Sudduth, Sarah Sudduth, Meghan Reid, Lily Reid, JT Reid, MaryAnn Schuler and Emma Schuler; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mr. Sudduth were held at 1 P.M. Saturday, July 6, 2024 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Interment with Military Honors was in West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Memphis.
