Mike Adams

James Michael “Mike” Adams, age 57, resident of Somerville, Tennessee and husband of Kara Adams, departed this life Tuesday morning, June 4, 2024 at his home.

Mike was born March 26, 1967 in Starkville, Mississippi, the son of the late Robert Nogles Adams and Lucy Starling Adams. He was married September 25, 2000 to Kara Stacy Adams and was a painter for many years. Mike enjoyed watching television with mom and model cars.

Mike is survived by his wife, Kara Adams; his daughter, Christina Adams of Michigan; three sons, Michael Adams of Michigan, Steven Stacy of Somerville, TN and Brent Lavender of Eads, TN; his sister, Dana Waller of Missouri; seven grandchildren, Benjamin Michael Lavender, Christina Lewis, Angel Smith, Timothy Smith, Namara Smith, Zelena Smith and Shane Lewis, Jr.; and two great-grandchildren, Venus Smith and Raya Garcia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Pam Meden and his brother, Robert Adams.

A visitation for Mr. Adams will be from 2 to 3 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Warren Community Church near Somerville. Memorial Services will be at 3 P.M. Sunday, June 23, 2024 at Warren Community Church with Dr. Ken Culver officiating.
