NADINE KINCAID TAYLOR, resident of Jackson, TN and former resident of the Stanton Community departed this life Tuesday morning, August 30, 2011 at the Maplewood Health Care Center in Jackson where she had been a resident for one month. She was 61 years of age and died following an extended illness.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Taylor are Saturday, September 3 rd at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Jackson. Interment is in the Knights of Pythias Cemetery at Brownsville. Arrangements are provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes and Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.
A native of Haywood County, Mrs. Taylor was born August 9, 1950. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aaron Kincaid, Sr. and Rosetta Rogers Kincaid and her son, Larry L. Taylor, Jr. She was a former resident of Haywood County before moving to Jackson a number of years ago. In earlier years, she was employed as secretary for the Gilliam F. Jones Funeral Home in Stanton and was employed by the MTD Manufacturing Company in Brownsville before her retirement five years ago.
She was a devoted member of the Christian Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witnesses in Jackson and will be remembered for her integrity and concern for others. Her interests included collectibles, gardening and the making of floral arrangements. She was a family oriented person who enjoyed special times with her grandchildren, family members, friends and church congregation.
Mrs. Taylor is survived by her two sisters, Christine Howard of Jackson, Lela Bates of Nashville, two brothers, Aaron Kincaid, Jr. of Nashville and Larry Kincaid of Jackson and her grandchildren, Larry Taylor III and Leah Taylor, both of Jackson.
