Naomi (Cates) Johnson

Mrs. Naomi Cates Johnson, age 79, resident of the Mason Community and wife of the late James Earl Johnson died Thursday afternoon, January 5, 2012 at Saint Francis Hospital in Bartlett.
Services for Mrs. Johnson will be at 2 Monday afternoon at Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment in Eads Cemetery. A visitation for Mrs. Johnson will be from 12 until 2 Monday afternoon at Peebles West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Billy Johnson of Mason; her sister, Ruth Bishop of Whiteville; her brother, Buddy Cates of Hickory Withe; five grandchildren, Anthony Wayne Denniston, Jennifer Dianne Johnson, Sara Nicole Johnson, Andrea Michelle Johnson, Angela Renee Johnson; and four great grandchildren.
Mrs. Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Cates and Ada Irene Henley Cates.
