Nicholas "Nick" Brandon Bertram

Nicholas Brandon "Nick" Bertram, age 34, resident of Somerville, departed this life Sunday afternoon, January 3, 2016 at the Regional One Health Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Nick will be conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, January 8, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation one hour before services. Interment will be in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Nick was born July 27, 1981 in Berrien Springs, Michigan. He moved with his family at an early age to Oakland and received his education at Concorde Career College. He served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the Bartlett First Assembly of God. Nick was a longtime resident of West Tennessee and enjoyed playing video games, repairing furniture and special times with his family and children.
Nick is survived by two daughters, Lanie Bertram of Arlington, Lilly Bertram of Arlington; his parents, Jerry and Catherine Bertram of Oakland; three sisters, Summer Gentry (Donnie) of Oakland, Lisa Herlich (Ken) of Hot Springs, AR, Shawn Selby (Steve) of Bartlett; his brother, Todd Clark (Shelley) of Oakland; and his girlfriend, Jennifer Stracener of Cordova.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers will be Shane Williams, Todd Clark, Anthony Jackson, Chase Ring, J.J. Adkins and Donnie Gentry.
