NICKOLE MARIE POSTELWAIT

January 26, 1970 — June 15, 2009

NICKOLE MARIE POSTELWAIT, a resident of the Somerville Community and Laboratory Technician died at 5:40 P.M. Monday, June 15, 2009 at the Methodist North Hospital in Memphis where she had been a patient for two weeks. She was 39 years of age and died following a brief illness.

Funeral services for Ms. Postelwait were conducted at 3 P.M. Wednesday, June 17th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Rev. Boyce Wilson, Pastor of the District 15 Christian Center, officiating. He was assisted by Kevin Treadway of Somerville. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in the District 15 Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

A native of Kalamazoo, Michigan Ms. Postelwait was born January 26, 1970. She was preceded in death by her father, Darrell E. Postelwait and her mother Geneva Jo Martin of Somerville who died March 21, 2009.

She was educated in the Michigan Public School System and was a graduate of the Mishawaka High School.

Ms. Postelwait was employed as a Laboratory Technician for the Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Group in Memphis, for the past seven years.

She was a member of the District 15 Christian Center and had been a resident of Jernigan Drive in Fayette County for the past eleven years.

She will be remembered as a loving mother who devoted much time to her children. She received enjoyment from flowers, pets and outdoor activities.

Survivors of Ms. Postelwait include her twin daughters, Dara Ann Spicer and Dana Lynn Spicer of Somerville; her son, Christopher Allen Spicer of Somerville; her sister, Lorie Orbin of Somerville and her brother, Daniel W. Dorn of Mishawaka, IN.

Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Dustin Baker, Michael Cowell, Reggie Davis, Luke Monney, Donnie Joe Spicer and Joshua Wayne Spicer.

Honorary casket bearers were "Bubba" Bobbitt and Ray Glover.
