Pam Hubble (Potter) Owens

June 26, 1952 — March 1, 2016

Pamela Hubble Potter Owens, age 63, resident of Germantown and Fayette County, was called home Tuesday morning, March 1, 2016.

Graveside Services for Mrs. Owens were conducted on Sunday, March 6, 2016 at the family farm near Moscow. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Pam was born in Providence, Rhode Island, reared in Jackson, Mississippi, then settled in Tennessee where she was first and foremost a proud wife and mother of three children, who dedicated her life to her family and always put them before herself.   She was a graduate of the University of Memphis with a BA in Paleontology. She had a love for her animals and her antiques.  She was the Proprietor of the Crawford Antique Store in Williston where she enjoyed much of her time.

Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband, James Owens, Sr.; two daughters, Lauren Owens Conde of Somerville and Amie Owens Knight of Germantown; her son, James Owens Jr. (wife, Lauren) of Germantown; Juan Carlos Conde of Somerville; two brothers, Peter Potter (wife, Joy) of Concord, GA, Pinky Potter (wife, Arlene) of Greensboro, NC; three grandchildren, Tripp Knight of Germantown, Blythe Owens of Germantown, Chris Cheatham of Germantown; two cousins, Dorothy Gillespie of Jackson, MS and Gaye Tiffany of Atlanta, GA, numerous nieces and nephews and her dearest lifelong friends, Bobby Kelly (wife, Nell) of Bolton, MS, Ed Moore of Whiteville and Mark Langston of New Hebron, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell H. Potter, III and Harriett Holleman Potter and her dear friend, Mrs. Ann Crawford of Williston.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were James Owens, James Owens Jr., Tripp Knight, Bobby Kelly, John Farley, Ed Moore, John R. Phillips and Mark Langston.
