Patricia Louise “Mama Pat” Canaday Voyles, age 60, resident of La Grange, departed this life Wednesday evening, September 23, 2015 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Voyles were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, September 28, 2015 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Pastor Craig McGee, pastor of Victory of Life Assembly of God in Somerville, officiating. He was assisted by Bro. John Ed Watkins, pastor of Mercy Bridge Church in Somerville. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Patricia Louise Voyles was a very beautiful lady with an amazing heart. She was born June 11, 1955 in Somerville, the daughter of George Ike Canaday, Sr. and Maggie Eva Ivy Canaday. She attended Fayette County Schools and furthered her education in accounting. Pat served Fayette County Schools as an accountant and bookkeeper for many years. Pat was one of a kind. Her joys in life were helping others, loving God and putting smiles upon people's faces. Pat will always be remembered for all the love she shared.
Ms. Voyles is survived by her son, Robert Brandon Voyles of LaGrange and two grandchildren, Tyler Dylan Black (Voyles) and Seth Nicholas Price (Voyles) of LaGrange, Tennessee.
The family requests that memorials be directed to Victory Life Assembly of God, 11650 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
