Patsy Joan (Wilson) Proctor

Patsy Joan Wilson Proctor, age 58, resident of Somerville and wife of Mike Proctor, departed this life Thursday morning, June 1, 2017 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Proctor were conducted at 2 P.M. Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Bryan Morris officiating. He was assisted by Bro. Carl Meyer. Interment will follow in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Proctor was born December 6, 1958 in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her education at Collierville High School and was very active in the children’s ministry when she attended Oakland First Baptist Church. She was most recently a member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church in Moscow. Mrs. Proctor was married September 11, 1976 to Michael Everett “Mike” Proctor and served as a childcare provider for many years. She enjoyed traveling, attending flea markets, going to the mountains and the beach and special times with her family members and friends.
Mrs. Proctor is survived by her husband of 40 years, Michael Everett “Mike” Proctor of Somerville, TN; two daughters Debbie Hunsucker (Michael) of Slayden, MS, Amy Jenkins (Joe) of Somerville, TN; three sisters, Sandra McGregor (David) of Victoria, MS, Karen McClure (Larry) of Rossville, TN, Jane King (Frankie) of Somerville, TN; her brother, John Wilson (Pam) of Mt. Pleasant, MS; and three grandchildren, Brianna Hunsucker, Austin Hunsucker and Carter Jenkins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, David Leon Wilson and Velma Lorine Godsey Wilson and three sisters, Patricia Teel, Linda Parker and Phyllis J. Cook.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Gary Teel, Jeff Proctor, David Proctor, Jason Proctor, Nathan Wilson and Timothy Williams.
