Peggy Joyce (Young) Pauly

Peggy Joyce Young Pauly, age 73, resident of Somerville, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday morning, May 6, 2018 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville.

A Memorial Service for Ms. Pauly was held at 1 P.M. Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. A Private Family Interment will be in Memphis Memory Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Ms. Pauly was born June 15, 1944 in Memphis, Tennessee. She received her education at Memphis State University and was a member of the Somerville Church of Christ. She was employed at Kellogg’s in the manufacturing plant for many years and loved her dog, Dixie. Ms. Pauly enjoyed crocheting, reading, gardening, canning and cooking fried pies.

Ms. Pauly is survived by her daughter, Rebecca Barragan (Samuel) of Reynosa, Mexico; her son, David H. Pauly of Holly Springs, MS; her sister, Carolyn Rea (Johnnie) of Dyersburg, TN; her brother, Keith Young (Trisha) of Woodbury, TN; six grandchildren, Brittney Baker, Samuel Barragan, Raymon Barragan, Elizabeth Branch, Davanie Shirley, David Thomas Pauly; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Comer Winford Young and Janice Isabel McAuley Young and her sister, Barbara Zamora.
