Penny Lynn (Cannon) Gosser

April 18, 1969 — August 9, 2015

Penny Lynn Cannon Gosser, age 46, resident of the Somerville Community, departed this life Sunday morning, August 9, 2015 at her residence.

Services of Remembrance for Ms. Gosser were conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, August 12th at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Jim Perry, pastor of the Family Worship Center in Moscow, officiating. Interment followed in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in the District 15 Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.

Ms. Gosser was born April 18, 1969 in Somerville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie Ed Cannon and Mary Johnson Cannon. She received her education in the Fayette County Public School System and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed animals and Elvis Presley.

Ms. Gosser is survived by her daughter, Jessica Gosser of Somerville; her son, Michael Gosser, Jr. of Somerville; two sisters, Patricia Kimery (Ralph) of Moscow, Wanda Davis (Mitch) of Collierville; and her brother, Jessie Cannon, Jr. (Patricia) of Mountain Home, AR .

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Baby Boy Cannon.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Eric Eddington, Timmy Lipford, Michael Davis, Jason Davis, Jeremy Lipford and Steve Lipford, Jr.

The family requests that memorials be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Department 142, Memphis, TN 38148.
