Phillip Anthony Springer

Phillip Anthony Springer, age 61, resident of Somerville and husband of Brenda Spicer Springer, departed this life Friday afternoon, April 21, 2017 at his residence.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Springer were conducted at 3 P.M. Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. Jim Perry of Moscow, officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.

Mr. Springer was born April 8, 1956 in Somerville, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charlie Thomas Springer and Allie B. German Springer. He was a graduate of Fayette Academy in Somerville and was married September 2, 1986 to the former Brenda Spicer. Mr. Springer was employed at Tennessee Tractor in Somerville before retiring for health reasons. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, shooting his guns, hunting and special times with his grandchildren.

Mr. Springer is survived by his wife of 30 years, Brenda Spicer Springer of Somerville, TN; his daughter, Lindsey Kennon (Joshua) of Clarksville, TN; three sons, Eric Anthony Springer (Fiancée, Jillian Steihauer) of Southaven, MS, Allen Thomas Springer of Bushnell, IL, Liam Ethan Springer (Shae) of Walla Walla, WA; two sisters, Patsy Harvey (Scooter) of Somerville, TN, Linda Palmer (Brady) of Covington, TN; two brothers, Murry Springer (Joan) of Oakland, TN, Charlie Springer, Jr. (Phyllis) of Somerville, TN; and four grandchildren, Adaya Kennon, Barrett Kennon, Landon Springer and Ally Springer.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Josh Spicer, Donnie Joe Spicer, Joseph Spicer, Brian Parks, Tommy Springer and Charles Tatum.
