Randy Edward Anthony, age 63, resident of Somerville and husband of Lula Cannon Spicer Anthony, departed this life Monday morning, November 7, 2016 at the National HealthCare Center in Somerville.
Services of Remembrance for Mr. Anthony was conducted at 1 P.M. Wednesday, November 9, 2016 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Jim Perry, pastor of the Family Worship Center in Moscow, officiating. Interment followed in the Hood Cemetery in the Warren Community. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Anthony was born October 27, 1953 in Fayette County, Tennessee. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was employed as a carpenter for many years before his retirement. He was married June 11, 2011 to the former Lula Cannon Spicer and he was a member of the Family Worship Center in Moscow. Mr. Anthony enjoyed wrestling and special times with his family.
Mr. Anthony is survived by his wife, Lula Cannon Spicer Anthony of Somerville, TN; two sisters, Ann Thompson of Somerville, TN, Wilma K. Thompson of Tennessee; and his brother, Leonard Anthony (Betty) of Brownsville, TN.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude White Robert Anthony and Martha Francis Sweeton Anthony.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Joel Garrison, Bobby Eddington, Jamie Garrison, Donnie Joe Spicer, Gabe Hurdle and John Hurdle.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Family Worship Center, 90 Charleston Street, Moscow, TN 38057.
