René Dawn (Mount) Gray

René Dawn Mount Gray, age 54, resident of Arlington, Tennessee and wife of Steven "Steve" Gray, departed this life Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Gray were conducted at 1 P.M. Friday, October 28, 2016 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Dr. Kenneth Culver, pastor of the Warren Community Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment followed in the Fayette County Memorial Park Cemetery on Highway 64. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Gray was born June 12, 1962 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of the late William Blaine Mount and the late Louvada Faye Shaw Woods. She moved with her family at an early age to Tennessee and was a graduate of Westview High School in Martin. She was married May 2, 1981 to Steve Gray and she was employed in the administration department at Jacob Tubing in Memphis. Mrs. Gray was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Women of the Moose. She enjoyed boating, riding side-by-side ATV’s, watching birds and was a Dallas Cowboys and Tennessee Vols fan. She received much pleasure in special times with her grandchildren and her pet dogs.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steve Gray of Arlington, TN; her daughter, Brittany Gray (Jon Stafford) of Oakland, TN; her son, Michael “Bubba” Gray (Samantha) of Oakland, TN; two sisters, Machael Lane (Shannon) of Murfreesboro, TN, Jacqueline Choate (Pat) of Knoxville, TN; her half-sister, Kimberley Sneed (Tim) of Killen, AL; three half-brothers, Dennis Woods (Lisa) of Pulaski, TN, William Mount, Jr. (Ellen) of Gleason, TN, Doyle Woods (Heather) of Chicago, IL; her stepbrother, Jimmy Woods of Memphis, TN; and two grandchildren, River Gray and Drake Gray.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Richard Hogg, Keith Maddox, Chuck Reedy, Troy Boucher, Austin White and Jeff Johnson.
