Sheila Renee Noe Mullins, resident of the Oakland Community and wife of Dennis Mullins, departed this life Saturday morning, March 22, 2014 at the Baptist Trinity Hospice House in Collierville where she had resided for three weeks. She was 47 years of age and died following an extended illness.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Mullins were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, March 24th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with her pastor, Bro. Billy Adair, of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church in Somerville, officiating. Interment will be private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center — West Chapel at Oakland.

Mrs. Mullins was born January 4, 1967 in Moscow. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Richard Noe and Ann Culver Noe. She received her education in the Fayette and Hardeman County Public School Systems and was married December 6, 1990 to Steven Dennis Mullins of Oakland, a mechanic for the City of Oakland, who survives.

Mrs. Mullins was a dedicated member of the Morris Chapel Baptist Church, where she received much love and comfort from her church family during her lengthy illness. She was a homemaker and in earlier years was associated with her family in the operation of Noe’s Florist and Trading Center located on Highway 64 in the Warren Community. She also operated her housekeeping service as long as health permitted. She and her family had been involved in area tractor pulls for a number of years and developed many friends who shared this activity.

Renee will be remembered for her love of life and her kind, gentle mannerisms. She adored her grandchildren and served as an inspiration to many throughout her life.

In addition to her husband of 23 years, Mrs. Mullins is survived by her daughter, Angela Mullins of Oakland; her son, Jonathan Kelly who is stationed with the U.S. Navy in Portsmouth, VA; her brother, Richard Noe of Bolivar; and four grandchildren, Calvin Creech, Gracie Stewart, Bradley Stewart and Abby Kelly.

The family requests that memorials be directed to the Fayette County Chapter of the American Cancer Society, c/o Linda Taylor, 16845 U.S. Highway 64, Somerville, TN 38068.
