Richard Thomas "Tommy" Spencer

Richard Thomas “Tommy” Spencer, age 70, of Moscow, Tennessee, unexpectedly passed away at his home on October 21, 2022.

Tommy was born May 25, 1952, in Memphis, Tennessee, the only son of the late Charles and Eunice Spencer. Tommy is survived by his loyal wife of forty-eight wonderful years, Deone Spencer; his beloved son, Brandon Spencer (Emily); two grandsons, Zachary and Luke; his two sisters, Linda Wamble and Susan Woods (Stewart); and nieces, nephews, family and many, many friends.

Tommy will forever be remembered for his devotion to his family, his love for Jehovah and his ability to always spread joy and laughter to everyone he met. He was an extremely hard worker and a master of his craft in furniture restoration. Tommy was a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, baptized July 11, 1975, which began his 47 year walk of faith with Jehovah. He served as an elder for over twenty years at the Berclair/Northeast Congregation.

Memorial Services for Mr. Spencer were held at 2 P.M. Sunday, October 30, 2022 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Roger Hunter and Brad Behnes officiating.
