Rickey David Summars

Rickey David Summars, age 58, resident of Memphis, departed this life Wednesday morning, May 18, 2016 at his residence.
Services and Interment for Mr. Summars will be private. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Summars was born August 2, 1957 in Memphis. He received his education in the Memphis City Public School System and was a lifelong resident of Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Andy Summars and the former Ruth Inez Rounsaville. He was married to the former Alice Haynes, who preceded him in death, and was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Summars was employed as a construction worker at Landmark Construction in Memphis and enjoyed fixing mechanical things, helping others and had a love for life.
Mr. Summars is survived by his companion, Angela Marie Pulliam of Memphis and his half-sister, Betty Ruth Allert of Poway, California.
