Ricky Shane Leake

Ricky Shane Leake, age 38, resident of Moscow, departed this life Thursday afternoon, July 14, 2016 at the Metro General Hospital in Nashville.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Leake were conducted at 11 A.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2016 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville with Bro. Tony Watkins of Moscow, officiating. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel in Somerville.

Mr. Leake was born March 3, 1978 in Covington, Tennessee. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church in Moscow. He was a resident of Fayette County for 18 years and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and special times with his family, especially his daughter, Katelynn.

Mr. Leake is survived by his daughter, Katelynn Danielle Leake of Piperton; his parents, Donna Robbins Leake of Moscow, Lawrence “Tippy” Leake of Moscow; his sister, Maggie Leake Perez of Moscow; his brother, Lawrence Michael Leake, Jr. of Moscow; three nieces, Alicia Santiago, Andrea Perez, Summer Perez; and two nephews, Felipe Perez, Jr. and Hunter Shane Perez.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Michael Doyle, Jason Teague, Jason Hensley, Timothy Holden, Brandon Robbins and Wayne Robbins. Honorary pallbearers included Frankie Robbins and Dennis Smith.
