Rita Frances (Goodrum) Fulcher

Rita Frances Goodrum Fulcher, age 77, resident of the Eads Community and wife of the late LeRoy Fulcher, departed this life Sunday, November 16, 2014 at the Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville.
Services and Interment for Mrs. Fulcher were private. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mrs. Fulcher was born September 21, 1937 in Selmer, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Onie Goodrum and Ruby Gable Goodrum. She moved with her family at an early age to Shelby County and was a graduate of Bartlett High School. She was married in 1984 to LeRoy Fulcher, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Fulcher was of the Methodist faith and a resident of the Eads Community. She enjoyed reading and preparing food for her family and friends.
Mrs. Fulcher is survived by her daughter, Caren Johnson (Karl) of Eads; her son, Troy Cline (Denise) of Atlanta, GA; her sister, Linda Robinson of Foley, AL; two brothers, Max Goodrum (Janet) of McKenzie, TN, Rex Goodrum (Pam) of McKenzie, TN; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Gene Goodrum.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the church, charity or organization of the donor's choice.
