Robert Daniel Odum, Sr.

Robert Daniel Odum, Sr., age 80, resident of Atoka, departed this life Thursday evening, March 31, 2016 at the River Terrace Health & Rehabilitation Center in Covington.
Graveside Services for Mr. Odum were conducted at 2 P.M. Monday, April 4, 2016 at the Morris Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Somerville. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mr. Odum was born May 17, 1935 in Brighton, Tennessee. He received his education in the Fayette County Public School System and was employed as an electrician for many years before his retirement. Mr. Odum was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed drawing.
Mr. Odum is survived by his daughter, Cindy Chambers of St. Petersburg, Florida; his son, Robert Odum, Jr. of Cullman, Alabama; his brother, Minor Odum and his wife, Shirley, of Atoka; nine grandchildren and a large number of great grandchildren.
