ROBERT ARTHUR REYNOLDS

April 29, 1944 — December 26, 2008

ROBERT ARTHUR REYNOLDS, longtime Accountant and devoted husband and father died at 1:30 P.M. Friday, December 26, 2008 at the Methodist Hospital Fayette in Somerville, Tennessee where he had been a patient for two days. He was 64 years of age and died following an illness of several months.

Funeral services for Mr. Reynolds were conducted at 2 P.M. Thursday, January 1st, 2009 at the Dancyville United Methodist Church with Rev. Edgar Graham of Memphis officiating. Interment followed in the Dancyville United Methodist Church Cemetery at Dancyville, TN. Arrangements are provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mr. Reynolds was born April 29 1944 in Des Moines Iowa. He worked part time with his father at the family business through high school and college. A graduate of Des Moines East High School, he completed undergraduate studies at Iowa State University and received his Master of Business Administration Degree from Drake University.

Mr. Reynolds was an accountant throughout his life operating a private practice in the Indianapolis area for a number of years. He was a member of the White Chapel Church in Carmel, Indiana.

He once drove his VW Bug around the Indy 500 track.

Mr. Reynolds is survived by his loving wife whom he married in 1987, Kay Schulz Reynolds of Somerville; two sons, Bob Reynolds, Jr. of Noblesville, IN and Daniel J. Reynolds of Zionsville, IN; his sister, Doris Murrow of Des Moines, IA; his brother, Paul Reynolds of Washington, IA and six grandchildren.

He was also the loving father of Serena Reynolds of Indianapolis who preceded him in death, as well as his parents, older brother and infant brother.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Dan Reynolds, Bob Reynolds, Jr., David Schulz, Bart Schulz, Jack Berressem and Terry McMillen.

Honorary casketbearers were Irwin Graham and Rick Holtsclaw.

The family request that Memorials be directed to the Dancyville United Methodist Church.
