Robert Snowden Street

Robert Street, age 79, longtime resident of Arlington, Tennessee, departed this life Saturday morning, May 12, 2018 surrounded by loved ones at his home.

Robert was born April 25, 1939 in Tippah County, Mississippi. He was a United States Army Veteran. He was a retired carpenter and a Local 345 member for 50 years and was an active member of the Arlington Community, who enjoyed working on many community projects.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Vibe and Effie Whitten Street, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Linda C. Street, one daughter, one son, two stepsons, three stepdaughters and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Graveside Services were held at 3 P.M. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Arlington Cemetery located at the corner of Chester Street and Hayes Street in Arlington, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Arlington United Methodist Church, 6145 Quintard Street, Arlington, Tennessee 38002.
