Robert Lee Watkins, Jr.

Robert Lee Watkins, Jr., age 73, resident of Moscow, Tennessee and husband of Beverly Padell Watkins, departed this life Monday afternoon, April 2, 2018 at his residence.

Services of Remembrance for Mr. Watkins were conducted at 2 P.M. Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Peebles Main Funeral Chapel in Somerville. Interment followed in the Friendship Cemetery at Moscow. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel in Somerville.

Mr. Watkins was born April 8, 1944 in Fayette County, Tennessee. He received his education at Moscow Elementary School and was employed as a maintenance man at Troxel Manufacturing in Moscow for many years before his retirement. He was married October 3, 1969 to the former Beverly Padell and he was of the Baptist faith. Mr. Watkins enjoyed hunting and fishing and will be remembered for being a loving husband, father, brother and friend.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 48 years, Beverly Watkins of Moscow, TN; his son, Mark Watkins of Moscow, TN; and his brother, Joe Watkins (Johnnie) of Elkins, AR. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee Watkins, Sr. and Anne Mae Lusk Watkins and his sister, Reba Sharber.
