Robert Leo Kimery, Jr.

Robert Leo “Bubs” Kimery, Jr., resident of Walnut, Mississippi and former resident of the Moscow Community died Wednesday morning, March 2, 2011 at his residence. He was 56 years of age and died unexpectedly of natural causes.
Services of remembrance for Mr. Kimery were conducted at 2 P.M. Saturday, March 5
th
at the Oakland Baptist Church in Walnut, Mississippi with Rev. Eddie Martin, Pastor of Christ Church in Brownsville, officiating. Interment followed in the Oakland Baptist Cemetery at Walnut. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes—West Chapel of Oakland.
Mr. Kimery was born March 30, 1954 in Somerville, the son of the late Robert Leo Kimery, Sr. and the late Lucille Morgan Kimery. He was educated in the Fayette County School System and was employed by the Sequentia Corporation in Grand Junction for 32 years. Mr. Kimery was a Christian and had been a member of the Walnut Community for the past 26 years. He was married June 19, 1983 to the former Faye Luna of Tippah County, MS, who survives.
Mr. Kimery was an avid outdoorsman with a love of horses and horseback riding. He enjoyed team penning, donkey penning, farming, rabbit hunting and special times with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife of 26 years, Faye he is survived by four sons: Robert Edward Kimery (Rebecca) of Mason, TN, Joshua Kimery of Oakland, TN, Lynn Wilbanks of Walnut, Jason Wilbanks (April) of Walnut, his sisters: Patsy McBride (Bobby) of Williston, Rena Goudy (Glen) of Moscow, Sandra Kimery of Moscow; his brother: Ralph Kimery (Tina) of Moscow; eleven grandchildren: Jonathan, Austin, Zachary, Andrew, Edward and Leo Kimery of Mason; Alayna and Adam Kimery of Oakland; Alesha and Katie Wilbanks of Kossuth, MS; Breanna Wilbanks of Walnut and one more grandchild due in July 2011 and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Kimery was preceded in death by a sister Ann Walk of Moscow.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Twain Goudy, Robert Kimery, Bobby McBride, Jimmy McKelvey, Jason Wilbanks and Lynn Wilbanks.
Honorary casketbearers were Austin Kimery, Jonathan Kimery, Frank Ray and James Ray.
