ROBIN VAUGHAN SPARKMAN
April 10, 1969 — January 16, 2010
ROBIN VAUGHAN SPARKMAN, a resident of Byhalia, Mississippi and former resident of Fayette County died Saturday evening, January 16, 2010 at her residence. She was 40 years of age and died following a brief illness.
A Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Vaughan was conducted at 2 P.M. Wednesday, January 20th at the First Assembly of God Church in Collierville with Pastor Randy Brummitt, of the church, officiating. Interment followed in the Somerville City Cemetery. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-Main Chapel of Somerville.
Mrs. Vaughan was born April 10, 1969 in Memphis the daughter of Mrs. Cheri Creasy Vaughan and Dr. Johnnie R. Vaughan of Somerville, who survive.
She was a graduate of Fayette Academy in Somerville, Class of 1987 and was a resident of the Somerville Community for much of her life before moving to Byhalia five years ago.
She was married August 1, 1998 to Dennis G. Sparkman, Employee of Hughes Supplied Air of Olive Branch, Mississippi, who survives.
She was a homemaker at the time of her death and was a devoted member of the Collierville First Assembly of God Church where she participated in numerous activities.
Her love of her family was surpassed only by her love of the Lord, Jesus Christ and her life was a testimony of the love He has for each one of us.
Faith, family and friends were the true inspirations of her life permitting her to remain strong and courageous throughout her illness.
In addition to her husband and her parents, Mrs. Vaughan leaves four sons: Justin Hughes and Grant Hughes, both of Oakland and Bryce Sparkman and Blaine Sparkman, both of Byhalia; her step-daughter, Stephanie Sparkman of Oakland and her brother, J. B. Vaughan, currently serving in the United States Army in Virginia.
Those honored to serve as casket bearers were Jack Dawson, Layne Dawson, Justin Hughes, Don Lindholm, Joe Rushing, Danny Smith, Danny Sparkman and J. B. Vaughan.
