Ronald Mason “Ronnie” Pittman, Jr., age 37, resident of Laconia, Tennessee, departed this life Sunday, April 13, 2025 at his residence.
Ronnie was born October 14, 1987 in Memphis, Tennessee, the son of Ronald Mason Pittman, Sr. and Karen Lanell Pulliam. He graduated from Fayette-Ware High School in 2007 and continued his education at Whiteville Vo-Tech. Ronnie was a member of Liberty Baptist Church in Laconia. He was a farmer for much of his life and enjoyed “running his cows”.
Ronnie was a friend to everyone and a loving brother, son, grandson and uncle. He never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face. He had a love for life, people and all children. Some of the sayings you could hear Ronnie saying were… “it’ll be aight”, “it is what it is”, “ok patnah” and “I’m just being a blessing”.
Ronnie is survived by his parents, Ronnie Pittman, Sr. (Tammy) of Whiteville, TN and Karen Lanell Pulliam of Whiteville, TN; his sister, Heather Jackson (Nick) of Brownsville, TN; his grandmother, Thelma Pulliam; four aunts, Regina Hill, Janet Farris, Kristy Wilson and Christy Pulliam; five uncles, Steve Pulliam, Randy Farris, Jerry Hill, Steven Wilson and Murray Davis; three nieces, Harlie Jackson, Chloe Jackson and Olivia Jackson; numerous cousins; his fiancé, Lloyann Bishop of Somerville, TN and her four children, Ty, Addie, Teague and Lilyann; and his four pet dogs, Rowdy, Chance, Junior and Chico.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank Pulliam, Roy Pittman and Josephine Pittman.
Funeral Services for Ronnie were held at 11 A.M. Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with Bro. David Reeves, pastor of Midway Baptist Church in Whiteville, officiating. The eulogy was given by Ronnie Pittman, Sr. Interment followed in Liberty Cemetery at Laconia.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Nick Rochelle, Timmy Byrum, Jimmy Goodman, Lil Danny Logan, Jake Dowdy, Miles Davis, T.J. Lambert and Charlie Thompson. Honorary pallbearers were Tim Dowdy, Billy Joe Hardin, Chester Pulliam, Scott Weaver, Carlo “Fabio” Papia, Randy Farris, Jerry Hill, Murray Davis and Teague Bishop.
