RONNIE LEE "RON" GRAHAM

December 16, 1946 — January 2, 2009

RONNIE LEE "RON" GRAHAM, a resident of the Hickory Withe Community and a person involved in heavy equipment sales throughout much of his life died at 6:15 P.M. Friday, January 2, 2009 at his home on Estate Drive. He was 62 years of age and died unexpectedly of natural causes.

Funeral services for Mr. Graham were conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, January 5th at Peebles West Funeral Chapel in Oakland with his cousin, Rev. Jerry Reece, United Methodist Minister of Atoka, TN, officiating. Interment followed in the Memory Hill Gardens Cemetery on Germantown Parkway. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes-West Chapel of Oakland.

Mr. Graham was born December 16 1946 in Bristol, Tennessee the son of the late James Calvin Graham and the late Thelma Woodby Graham. He moved at an early age with his family to Memphis. He was a graduate of the Kingsbury High School in Memphis and continued his education at the University of Memphis.

Mr. Graham was involved with heavy equipment operations for much of his life and had also operated Industrial Air Company in Tupelo, Mississippi, in earlier years. In recent years, he had also enjoyed working for Horizon Travel Services.

He was a member of the Bellevue Baptist Church in Memphis and was a former resident of Bartlett before moving to Fayette County eight years ago.

He will be remembered for his love of all sports and television movies.

Survivors of Mr. Graham include his sister, Barbara Parker (Jamie), his niece Cindy James (Chris) and his great-niece Shelby Shepherd, all of Hickory Withe.

Those honored to serve as casketbearers were Mike Palmer, Terry Harris, Danny Roberts, Travis Williams, Paul Parker and Ronnie Jeanes.
