Roselyn "Rose" (Hughes) Bryan

Roselyn “Rose” Hughes Bryan, age 86, resident of Collierville, departed this life Monday afternoon, May 29, 2017 at the Baptist Reynolds Hospice House in Collierville.

Services of Remembrance for Mrs. Bryan were conducted at 1 P.M. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Bethany Christian Church in Eads with Bro. Furniss Harkness, pastor of the church, officiating. Interment followed in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville. Arrangements were provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – Main Chapel of Somerville.

Mrs. Bryan was born April 26, 1931 in Collierville, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul Hughes and Martha Keough Hughes. She was a lifelong resident of the Collierville area and was the office manager for Collierville Animal Clinic for many years before her retirement. Mrs. Bryan was a member of Bethany Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Eads and she enjoyed quilting, gardening, playing dominoes and special times with her family members and friends.

Mrs. Bryan is survived by two daughters, Lynn Johnson of Milan, TN, Gale Wicker (Randy) of Coldwater, MS; two sons, Les Bryan (Doreena) of Saulsbury, TN, Mark Bryan (Tracy) of Collierville, TN; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers were Cole Bryan, Phillip Johnson, Cody Bryan, Benjamin Bryan, Buddy Billings and Bo Rutledge.
